Do I need to buy a day ticket in advance?

Dunez is becoming busier every year. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we allow a limited number of day guests. We therefore recommend purchasing a day ticket online.

Is access to the wellness area included?

Yes, if you stay at our campsite or in one of our rooms or cabanas, wellness access is included.

Should I bring my own towel, bathrobe, and slippers?

Towels are included for our guestroom and cabana guests. Campsite guests and day guests can use their own towels or rent them at the reception. Bathrobes are also available for rent. Forgot your slippers? We sell them at the reception.

Is nude recreation allowed?

At Dunez, the choice is yours. You can sunbathe by the pool or at the campsite in swimwear, or naked on a towel. In the restaurant, a towel, bathrobe, or clothing is mandatory. In the wellness area, only nudity is permitted for hygiene reasons.

Are there relaxation cabins?

At Dunez, you can relax in the garden or the orangery after a sauna session. We do not have private relaxation cabins.

Am I allowed to bring my own food and drinks?

It is not permitted to consume your own food or drinks in our wellness garden and catering areas. Naturally, this is allowed at the campsite, in the rooms, and in the cabanas.

Can I park at Dunez?

Dunez has its own parking lot which guests can use free of charge. Please carpool as much as possible and park closely together so we have space for everyone. Campsite and B&B guests are allowed one free car per accommodation. An additional car is available for an extra charge.

How do I get to Dunez via public transport?

There is no public transport in the immediate vicinity of Dunez. Bus line 136 runs from ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. Get off at the “de werf” bus stop in Drunen; from there, it is approximately a 3 km walk to Dunez, though a taxi might be a better idea. Do you enjoy cycling? Take the train to ‘s-Hertogenbosch, grab a public transport bicycle (OV-fiets), and cycle to Dunez in 40 minutes through beautiful nature.

Drunen center: 4 km

Waalwijk: 8 km

‘s-Hertogenbosch: 16 km

Tilburg: 28 km

The Efteling: 15 km

How do I get from Schiphol Airport to Dunez?

The easiest way is by taxi (costs €135 – €195). From Schiphol, there is a direct train to ‘s-Hertogenbosch (costs €17). From ‘s-Hertogenbosch, it is best to take a taxi to Dunez (€35).

Can I bring my dog to Dunez?

Dogs are allowed at the campsite as long as they do not cause any nuisance. Dogs must be on a leash or in a crate. Walking the dog must take place outside the Dunez grounds. Dogs are not allowed in the cabanas, rooms, wellness area, the garden around the natural pool, or the restaurant.

What is the smoking policy at Dunez?

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Dunez, including hotel rooms and cabanas. Authorities prohibit smoking in the restaurant and bar. Smoking is permitted in the garden and on the terrace. The cabanas and rooms have a terrace, which is a pleasant place to enjoy a cigarette. Smoking is allowed at the campsite; please ensure other guests are not disturbed. During dry periods, please be extra alert to potential fire hazards.

Is there internet?

Yes, we have free broadband internet. Our Wi-Fi network is accessible at the campsite, in your hotel room, and in all common areas of Dunez.

Can I rent bicycles or mountain bikes at Dunez?

We rent out city bikes, which are always available on-site. Mountain bikes (including a permit to ride on the mountain bike track) can be reserved but are always subject to availability. Inquire at the reception or easily order bikes through the Dunez app.

What is there to do in the area?

Dunez is located in the beautiful Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. Here you can enjoy walking, cycling, and mountain biking. Cities such as ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Eindhoven, and Waalwijk are a short distance from Dunez. The Efteling, the second largest theme park in Europe, is also just 15 km away. Within cycling distance, you will find National Monument Camp Vught and the “IJzeren Man” nature area. The beautiful and chic village of Oisterwijk is also nearby, featuring stunning forests, fens, and a charming center with terraces. Waalwijk is home to the shoe museum. The Dunez app and the Visit Brabant website offer even more ideas for outings.

Can I eat at Dunez?

Dunez has a restaurant for our guests. You can enjoy lunch, snacks, and dinner here starting from 12:00 PM. The menu is available on this website. The kitchen closes at 8:30 PM. We appreciate it if you reserve a table in advance so we can accommodate you.

Why is there a minimum stay of 2 nights for accommodations?

Due to the laundry costs for bed linen, stays in the rooms and cabanas at Dunez are a minimum of 2 nights. Washing less is also better for the environment. The reason for the campsite is different: during high season and weekends, we like the campsite to be full. Guests booking for only one night take the place of guests who wish to stay longer.
