House Rules

The Dunez grounds are men-only and exclusively accessible to men aged 18 and older (ID check in case of doubt). Men who are also physically male.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is available from 12:00 PM for the campsite and from 3:00 PM for the cabanas and guestrooms. For check-out, we request that you vacate the pitch, room, or cabana by 11:00 AM. If you wish to use the wellness facilities on your day of departure, this is possible at a reduced rate (late check-out).

Towels

The towels in your room or cabana are for use in your room. Towels that need to be replaced can be placed on the bathroom floor (rooms). Towels you are still using can be hung on the rack. These towels may also be used in our wellness area. If you require extra towels for the wellness area, these are available at the reception for an additional fee. Campsite guests must use their own towels in the wellness area.

Breakfast

For direct bookings, breakfast is included in your cabana or room rate and is served in the restaurant between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. From 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, you can visit the restaurant for your favorite drinks and snacks, as well as lunch or dinner. The kitchen is open until 8:00 PM from Wednesday to Monday (the kitchen is closed on Tuesday evenings). Opening hours may vary during the early and late seasons. Breakfast or fresh rolls are also available for campsite guests for an additional fee.

Clothing

At Dunez, the choice is yours. In the garden, you may recreate as you wish, with (swim)clothing or nude. Wearing swimwear is not permitted inside the wellness section. Wearing flip-flops is recommended for safety and hygiene. You may use your own flip-flops or purchase them at the reception. Wearing a bathrobe or towel is mandatory in the restaurant.

Wellness

The wellness area is open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Campsite

Please place your camping equipment on the spot designated by Dunez. Each pitch is clearly marked with a number. Your car must be parked in our parking lot immediately after setting up your equipment.
You must not cause any nuisance to other guests. Dogs must be on a leash or in a crate/cage. Music is allowed on the campsite from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, but please keep the volume low to avoid nuisance. After 12:00 AM, we ask you to respect the rest of the other guests. In the event of serious violations, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately. You must comply with this request immediately.

Waste and Electricity at the Campsite

You are required to separate waste at the campsite. Use the designated bins. If you do not wish to separate waste, we request that you take your waste with you. We do not accept unsorted waste.
Electricity is not included and is calculated per kWh.

Bathing

There is no supervision at the pools. Taking a shower before a sauna session is mandatory at all times. After using any of the facilities, you must also shower off perspiration before using other facilities such as the pool, whirlpool, or sunbeds.
The use of towels on sunbeds is mandatory.
Personal belongings can be left in the lockers in the changing area. Management is not liable for the loss of goods or valuables.
Diving is not permitted in the pool.
Please note that the heaters in the sauna and the steam outlet in the steam cabin can be hot. Visiting Dunez and using the facilities is always at your own risk. If you have medical complaints, we request that you consult a doctor first or seek information from one of our staff members. If you are undergoing a treatment with us, we urgently request that you report medical complaints, allergies, and other specifics to the staff.

Food and Drinks

Consumption of your own food or drinks is not permitted in the garden and restaurant. This is, of course, allowed in your room, cabana, or at the campsite. The restaurant and wellness area are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the terrace and in the garden.
Disturbing behavior, both verbal and non-verbal, is not permitted.
Alcoholic beverages will not be served to intoxicated persons. In case of excessive alcohol consumption, we may deny you access.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in the guesthouse or cabanas. Pets are allowed at the campsite provided they do not cause any nuisance. However, pets belonging to your visitors are not welcome.
Towels, TV, hairdryer, bathrobes, etc., are provided to make your stay in your room at Dunez pleasant. These items must be left in the room upon check-out. Missing items will be invoiced to you. Theft will always be reported to the police.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome in your room up to a maximum of 2 people; for overnight stays of extra persons, the maximum occupancy per room must never be exceeded. Extra overnight stays must always be reported to the reception. Visitors to the campsite must always be reported to the reception and may stay at the campsite during the day for a small additional fee. Visitors who also use the wellness facilities must pay the standard daily entrance fee. An overnight guest at the campsite must register at the reception. An extra fee is due for overnight guests. As a guest, you are responsible for the behavior of your visitor; we will address both you and your visitor if necessary. The visitor fee is always charged to your pitch. Unreported visitors will be charged as overnight guests.

Parking

Parking on the Dunez grounds is free for our guests. Maximum of 1 car per pitch or room; each additional car is subject to a fee. For your safety, the barrier at the road closes at 11:00 PM. However, it can be opened manually to grant you access to the parking lot. The campsite barrier may not be opened manually. Upon check-in, you will receive a key fob to enter the campsite. You should use your car as little as possible on the campsite. Between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, driving on the campsite grounds is prohibited.

Camera Surveillance

We monitor your property and ours by means of camera surveillance.

Photos

Feel free to take photos of Dunez. However, it is not permitted to take photos of other guests due to privacy reasons.

Violence and Conduct

The possession, use, and dealing of drugs is strictly prohibited on the entire premises.ZERO TOLERANCE! Upon discovery of drug possession or use, you must leave the Dunez premises immediately. No refunds will be given.
The possession of weapons is prohibited. ZERO TOLERANCE! Upon discovery of weapon possession or use, we will always report this to the police and you must leave the Dunez premises immediately. No refunds will be given.
Aggression, racism, unwanted advances, or other disruptive behavior is not permitted.
Overt sexual acts (visible to others) are not tolerated.
No nuisance of any form to the neighborhood.

Reception

The reception and bar are closed between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Settlement of accounts occurs upon check-out on the day of departure. If you stay longer, please choose your payment time before 6:00 PM or after 9:00 PM due to the busy hours in the restaurant.

Mandatory Showering

Showering is mandatory before using the sauna, pool, steam room, or whirlpool.

Sauna

Keep a close eye on the time and do not stay in the sauna or steam room for too long. Your body may overheat and you may become unwell. No sexual acts in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, showers, or steam sauna. Upon detection of unacceptable behavior, access to the wellness facilities may be denied. Use of poppers in the steam cabin is prohibited; the warm humid air and poppers form a dangerous combination. Respect one each other.

Prostitution is not permitted.

Please adhere to our house rules. In case of violation of the regulations, management may deny you access.

Delivery Terms

Pitch

All guests of Dunez campsite, guesthouse, wellness, and catering must be 18 years or older.
Rates include VAT and exclude tourist tax.

Campers

The overnight stay runs from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM the following day. If you decide to depart after 12:00 PM but before 10:00 PM outside of peak season and holidays, a surcharge will be applied. During peak season, the pitch must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
Setting up your pitch: Please place your caravan or tent on the pitch assigned to you. Pitches are clearly marked by numbering.

Pitch Reservation

Arrival at the campsite is possible on any day. If you have reserved a specific pitch, we will respect this as much as possible; however, we cannot give a watertight guarantee. There may be circumstances that require us to make a reservation. We ask for your understanding.

Online Reservation
Your reservation is only final when you have received the final confirmation from Dunez within 48 hours and you have paid (or made a deposit for) your stay costs. Without payment, you run the risk that we cancel the pitch or accommodation and rent it to someone else.

Payment

For reservations, we ask that the amount due be paid in advance. The full amount must be paid no later than 2 weeks before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. If the stay invoice remains unpaid, you run the risk that Dunez cancels the reservation. Rates include VAT and tourist tax.

Guestrooms

Arrival at the guestrooms is from 3:00 PM (if the room is ready). Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Online reservation: Your reservation is only final once you have received final confirmation from Dunez within 48 hours and have paid your stay costs. Without payment, you run the risk that we cancel the accommodation and rent it to someone else.

Guestroom Reservation

Arrival at the Dunez guestrooms is possible on any day. If you have reserved a specific room, we will respect this as much as possible; however, we cannot give a watertight guarantee. There may be circumstances that require us to make a reservation. We ask for your understanding.

Guestroom Payment

For reservations, we ask that the amount due be paid in advance, but no later than 2 weeks before arrival.

Conditions

Dunez only makes the campsite, guesthouse, and cabanas available for recreational purposes, not for permanent residency. Reservations are confirmed in writing via email. Without this written confirmation from Dunez, there is no booking or reservation. Bookings can only be made via our booking module on the website. Other forms of reservation, such as via WhatsApp messages or Messenger, etc., provide no guarantee for a room, cabana, or pitch. If the information changes significantly, the guest has the right to cancel the booking free of charge. The agreement ends automatically after the expiry of the agreed period, without notice being required. The price is agreed upon based on the rates applicable at that time. Price changes may be passed on to the guest. Payment must be made in Euros, observing the agreed term. Reservations must be paid 100% immediately. For a reservation made more than 2 months before the arrival date, it is possible to pay in installments: 50% as a deposit and the remaining 50% 14 days before arrival.

In the event of a cancellation, the guest pays a fee to Dunez.
For every cancellation, reservation costs are for the guest (unless Dunez cancels the booking).
Cancellation within 24 hours after booking is free of charge.
For cancellations up to 1 week before the arrival date, 25% of the total reservation will be charged.
For cancellations within 1 week before arrival or in case of a no-show, 100% of the total reservation will be charged.
If you, as a guest, decide to leave earlier than the planned departure date, no refund of (part of) the reservation is possible.
If a guest causes serious nuisance or displays unacceptable behavior and must leave the Dunez grounds, no refund of the reservation is possible.

Cancellation Fund

It can happen that your holiday was booked long in advance. Plans are made, trips are mapped out, and you are looking forward to the upcoming holiday. And then suddenly something happens, meaning your holiday cannot take place. What now? Money gone? It doesn’t have to be. By participating in the Dunez cancellation fund, one can save themselves the standard costs of a forced cancellation. Compensation via the Dunez cancellation fund only applies if one of the following reasons is applicable:

  • Sudden illness and/or accidents regarding one of the family members. Doctor’s certificate required.
  • Serious illness or death in the non-traveling family (1st or 2nd degree).
  • Involuntary unemployment of the breadwinner.
  • Significant damage to business or home, making presence desirable.
  • Unexpected move or allocation of a rental home.
  • Inability to use the transport and/or camping equipment intended for the holiday due to theft, fire, or unexpected engine or car damage within three weeks before the planned arrival.

If you use the cancellation fund, you must provide conclusive proof.

In the event that cancellation is necessary but the mentioned provisions do not apply, an attempt will be made to reach an appropriate arrangement in consultation with the person who reserved.
The cancellation policy is valid until the day of arrival.
Participation in the cancellation fund can be indicated during the booking. The costs for participation are 4.5% of the total amount due for the rented objects.

If other persons use your caravan or tent, they owe the normal camping fee per person per night. Premature departure of the guest is not a reason for refunding the reservation amount.
If a guest does not follow the rules from the regulations, causes a nuisance, spoils the atmosphere, or fails to fulfill agreements, access to Dunez can be denied immediately. Recreants must comply with any evacuation of the pitch, guestroom, or wellness.
Camping guests must adhere to environmental and safety requirements set by the government and safety region.
It is not permitted to dig on the grounds, cut down trees, prune shrubs, or place structures and fences without permission from the owner.
Damage to the tent or caravan cannot be recovered from Dunez.
The entrepreneur of Dunez is not liable for loss, theft, or damage on the Dunez grounds.
The entrepreneur of Dunez is not liable for failures of utilities on the Dunez grounds.
You can pay at Dunez using all common methods.

Right of Withdrawal

Notice of the right to cancel
As a private customer, you have the right to cancel your reservation within 24 hours without giving a reason. The cancellation period begins the moment you receive the confirmation.
The cancellation must be sent in writing via e-mail to: info@dunez.nl
It must explicitly state that it concerns the cancellation of your reservation, mentioning the reservation number.

Consequences of cancellation

After a successful cancellation, all payments will be refunded immediately within a period of 14 days after receiving the cancellation.

Privacy Policy

Dunez men-only resort, located at Margrietweg 21, 5151RH Drunen, is responsible for the processing of personal data as shown in this privacy statement.

Dunez processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. The data is stored in a secure online environment that fully complies with the GDPR (AVG).

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 18 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or a guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 18. We therefore recommend parents be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@dunez.nl and we will delete this information.   • Dunez also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

Dunez does NOT make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could have (significant) consequences for persons.

How long we store personal data

Dunez does not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Personalia: 7 years (legal obligation)

Address: 7 years (legal obligation)

Contact details: 7 years (legal obligation)

IP address, browser/device type, location data: 26 months

Provided visual material: Visual material created on your behalf is stored by us (unless otherwise agreed) for a period of 1 year. This is extended annually after consent.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Dunez does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Dunez remains responsible for these processing operations.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Dunez uses only technical and functional cookies, and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone upon your first visit to this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure the website works properly and, for example, remember your preference settings. We can also use this to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. View, modify, or delete data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. Dunez would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
